Thanks guys

Just got back from thrashing her to death at Phillip Island to find out she won BOTM! Thanks guys. She is sweet, although I'm still sorting little issues out like quickshifter sensitivity and throttle response off closed. The motor is stock except for intake tubes and a slip on - I don't even have an engine management system yet. Not enough $$$. But even so, I got the suspension sorted and my lap times down to 1.43/1.44, which is two seconds faster than my previous best! Another 10 seconds and I'll be able to see which way they went! ha ha. :th_SmlyROFL:

I love how the white and orange blend. Nothing too crazy but definitely eye catching. Well deserved win. Congrats man.

Wow, beautiful, custom paint job? repsol wheels or powdercoated?

lowrpm 11-21-2012 09:15 PM

Thanks! The paint was designed on a pc using the HRC line drawing from their setup manual as a base - lots of fun playing with GIMP! The wheels were Repsol (as was the bike originally), but after my recent off I needed to get one rolled and repainted. I always liked the bright orange so I kept that colour and incorporated it into the overall design as well. I had all the decals made locally and applied them in the lounge!

The dividing line between the black lower and the white sides was not the same angle on each side when I got them back, so I have added a strip of carbon fibre (vinyl) on both sides that realignes everything. It now looks even better that this pic.

The seat pad is pissing me off though. Two track days and it is disintegrating. Have to get some stronger foam I guess.
