Talking Brutus' 2008 Honda CBR 1000 Race/Track Bike - LOADED!

Hey guys! It was a tough decision, but I'm going to focus on other sports. Purchased in mid-2008, I am the only owner of this bike and have clear/clean Texas title. I put about 1000 miles on it before converting it to track use only. It has been meticulously maintained by Sunny and then Whoopie Motorsports here in Houston, with the assistance of Jim Cambora. Oil changed after every 3rd or 4th track day. I've been doing about 1 track day a month and the bike shows 3131 miles (not perfectly accurate due to the 520 gearing). I polish it down after every track day. It's never been crashed. Does not burn oil. I have the two keys. The bike has a lot of modifications and only needs to be safety wired to race.

Full Bazzaz Z-Fi Electronics - Fuel Control, Quick Shift, Traction Control, including the traction control/map selection switch; we built a special plate in the tail to hold the fuel unit - pretty trick.
Bazzaz Z-bomb
Full Arrow Ti exhaust system with the Trophy can (my favorite)
Magical Racing Air Intakes from Japan
GPR Steering Damper
Traxxion Dynamics AK-20 cartridges in the forks
Penske Triple Clicker rear shock (sprung for 175 lb. rider)
520 Conversion Kit with Vortex sprockets and RK Racing chain.
Galfer SBK stainless steel Brake Lines
Vesrah RJL Brake Pads (they may be Super RJL, I can't remember)
XT Ultra Lap Timer
ASV Inventions Adjustable Brake Levers
New Vortex Adjustable Rearsets
Woodcraft Clip-Ons (50mm, I think)
Renthal Hard Grips
Vortex Bar Ends
Wookcraft Frame Sliders
Vortex Axle Sliders in Rear
Hotbodies Bodywork (used but in good shape)
Yoshimura Engine Case Covers
BMC Air Filter
Lightweight Lithium Battery
Sato Race Hooks
Stomp Grip
HRC Superbike Tail
STM Slipper Clutch (like butter)
Zero Gravity Double Bubble Shield - Light Smoke
UK N-TEC tires with 1 track day on them (200/120 - mediums)
Some special German blue brake fluid of which I've never heard (my mechanic knew about it).

Bike is located in under a bike cover in my locked garage (lol, but I keep it dust free) in Houston Heights, Texas. May move it to Whoopie Motorsports so folks can see it easily. Not planning to part out.

Price: $8,700 firm. Serious inquiries only, please! Cash, bank cashier's check or wire transfer. You can contact me via email at brutusgray@yahoo.com or call 917-207-2327.

How do you like that GPR? I was thinking about getting that or the ohlins piston type damper. Very nice bike. Good luck with the sale.

I'll put in another good word for this bike and for Brutus. I bought my current track bike from him and it was a great bike at a great deal.

Thanks, guys!

Diddy, the GPR damper works fine. Had to send it in once and get it resealed. GPR has great customer service. Given that little problem, I think an Ohlins piston type might be a little better if you can figure out how to fit it.

The brake fluid is likely ATE Super Blue.

If that's correct, it has a higher boiling point over most DOT 4 fluids, and is well regarded in the aftermarket community.
