And on occasion we have done "side-by-side-acceleration-comparisons"
My Bike, '09 White - Flapper Mod, Stock Exhaust, 180#rider
Max, '09 White Repsol - Hotbodies MotoGP Exhaust, 170#rider
Jake, '08 Black,Silver - Taylor Made Exhaust, PCV, IR-C, 165#rider
In 2nd gear roll-on's my bike will pull on the '08 a bit, and by top of 5th gear I'm about 2 bikes ahead. Even giving him the hit, and chasing him down, I'll catch him and pass by top of 4th gear.
'09 Repsol is a bit closer to my bike, But in roll-ons I'll still pull just a bit in each gear.
I dont think I'm shifting any quicker than they are, I'm the heaviest of the three of us, and my bike has the least mods... Maybe I'm having the best luck getting tucked out of the wind??
Or maybe I just got lucky with a strong running RR
doesnt really matter, we all have a blast riding, Love our Hondas!!
