09 Repsol 1000rr

Just recently started doing a little tinkering with the RR didn't really want to make it a strictly drag bike so i didn't go all out and do a full swing arm just really wanted to make it a more comfortable ride less of a wheelie toy and more prepped for when i did want to take it to the track.

over the weekend me and a buddy installed the new parts

Danmoto conical GP slip on
vortex 15T sprocket
irc 7-9" swingarm extensions
roaring toys lowering links
SS rear brake line
530 150 link rear chain


i definitely like the way the bike turned out and is definitely a hell of alot more fun to ride when the tire warms up it feels like a whole different monster just need to decide on what tire i want to run on the rear because the factory bridgestone isn't taking it to well i really don't want to do a shinko hook-up but its looking like that might be what i have to go with.

That swingarm just killed that bike IMO... But oh well. To each his own..... It just seems WAYYY overdone....

Nice bike. Anything over 4.5" extensions is overkill unless you are a grudge racer IMO. My bike doesn't pick up and it's swb just lowered...

Well unfortunately they were 7-9" blocks and I ran into the issue with my rear tire rubbing the factory brake mount on the swingarm and I don't want to grind it down just in case I unstretch it so that's majority of the reason it's all the way out originally I had no intentions of going all 9"

Nice work. I don't see a lot of stretched bikes in my neck of the woods. The great thing about vehicles, bikes etc is that we can make them our own. Have you thought about +1 or 2 rear sprocket. -1 +1 woke up my Respol big time.
