I thought about getting one because the extended visor would be cool to have when riding into the sun. Ive read they tend to catch crosswinds because of the elongated design. I guess in the city it would be OK, but I would never wear one on a long trip.

I've had one for over 4 months now and I love it!! It does catch some good winds, but that is only when you turn your head. I've ridden down the interstate for a few hours straight and it's fine. It's also a little noisy, but not terrible at all. The lens has a great view and would highly recommend replacing the clear one for a tinted one (Because it looks much better and I can't stand clear lenses).http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fb...type=3&theater

I have the Icon Variant Construct and I love it.

I get tons of complements on it when I am riding around the city. When I have my leathers on, people have told me that I look like one of those biker scouts from Star Wars. Not sure if that is a good thing for the rest of you, but I took it as a complement.

As has already been noted, it can catch wind if you turn your head at highway speeds, but it isn't that bad. I love the field of view and it is noticeably lighter than my Bell Vortex. It is fine for long highway rides, your butt is going to be numb long before you notice the helmet in any way. Sorry Hank, I don't have any comparisons to other similar helmets.

What's the fastest you've been with it, not tucked up though? Lol
