i dont think you need to have a 1000rr to be on this site. Its open to the public. Asking questions about 600rr would be the only issue.

Because a lot of people own a 600 and a 1000 . I dont give a shit if a person has a moped on here as long as they are cool what does it matter .

Yea I dont get annoyed over it...but I don't know why they'd actively participate here. None of the specs are going to correlate

I have a 1000rr for the street and a 600rr for the track. I started on the 600rr for the street, upgraded to a newer 600 and made that dd track and bought a 1000rr for the street. I'm on both forums, but prior to having the 1000rr I was maybe on this forum twice to look at the bikes and read up on them. Helped me make my decision to upgrade to a 1000rr.

i have no problem with it. I dont think anyone does, it would just be smarter to ask questions about the 600 on 600rr.net because more people have the bike.

So far I'm glad that I joined this 1000rr community although I own an 05 600rr. Idk, buying stuff (parts or whatever) here seems like how do I put it... in my head its like...."I'd rather buy it here than CL or Ebay" (same thing goes when I sell stuff). Is because of solidarity or brotherhood...idk ...but that pretty much how I feel about it.

I have both. same, track and street, although I have tracked the 1krr. maybe they are hanging out here to learn more about the bike. who cares.
