pcIII usb and quickshifter

I have a pcIII USB on my 04cbr 1000 and I found a dynojet quickshifter I had laying around. Now I plugged it into the pc and found I need the ignition module with it to work.

My question is will a ignition module and pcIII from a 08 cbr 1000 work or even just the ignition module and my 04 pcIII USB unit together??

Now I would do some research but I need answer asap as I have a chance to get the later model setup at dirt cheap price...

While unlike your PC3 which spans only 04/05 models, the ignition module you need is better but is limited to 04 thru 07 models and unfortunately the newer 08+ units are not backwards compatible.

That said Ive got one kicking around here somewhere that I havent installed yet.
