Integrated gear indicator

Hi guys,
I have integrated the gear indicator in the cluster but I have a little problem....when the Sun is in front of the cluster I don't see anything, how can I resolve this problem?
I've used pzracing gear indicator and I have put a display 7 segment into the cluster
Thanks

Something that will block off the sun, like a shadow or foil or something like when the Hats the we wear that make shadow for the eyes!
Because sun can not be direct across the cluster, its allways gonna be above the cluster, and the angle how it sits on the frame looks like that, something small enough to cover the indicator.

Some guys over here put a thin piece of black plastic between the windshield and fairing (almost like a second windshield layer).
It extends back just far enough to make a shadow over the cluster.
Looks real clean!
