I was thinking about buying the bazzaz zfi and qs for my 07. I have done some searches but cant seem to come up with a deff answer if I need the pair block off with the auto tune. It says I would deff need them if I was haveing custom map done, but do i actually need them since the system is constantly adjusting? Also If I do need them, where can I get them from? Most places say 08 and above with nothing for our years or older.

You do, to get an accurate reading from your o2 sensor..(whether it be for an auto-tuner or dyno run) you've gotta disable the pair system.

The PAIR sends air from the airbox to the exhaust to dilute the emissions..which if your sensor picks up the extra o2 it won't be able to determine your best AFR.

I've heard of people pinching/clamping off the tubes that connect the solenoid to everything to get an accurate dyno run in..

The PAIR system must be disabled for a dyno-tune. Once the tune is loaded, then the PAIR system can be enabled.

Since the auto-tune is continuously using the the exhaust oxygen content as an input, and the PAIR system artificially changes the oxygen content of the exhaust, you cannot have a functioning PAIR system and use the auto-tune at the same time.

Well you CAN use both at the same time, though your AFR will be screwed up. "Garbage in, garbage out".
