HELP with my CCT

ok so my dumb ass proceeded to remove the CCT to install a new one without first referring to this HOW TO section for help as i thought it was just straight forward.

then i realized that you need to set the engine to TDC before removing the CCT. once i realized this i reinstalled the CCT with a bit of tension and then set the engine to TDC, while doing this i heard a slight pop ping and i dont know if this off set the timing or not. then i fully installed the CCT with full tension. so now what do i do from here. i dont want to start it and have it go kaboom on me..any help guys??..thanks

Check the timing marks and make sure they line up correctly if they do all is good if not then adjust them if anything they will only be out by a small amount maybe 1 tooth also turn the engine over manually( not with the starter) and if it gets stuck then u have a piston hitting a valve and timing needs setting
