Which one? The Shoei, FYI I wear a Medium in both my Arai's, Shoei's run smaller, I laso have the bigger cheek pads, which come with the size small, fits like a glove. Same goes for HJC, changed out cheek pads, fits like a glove.

What size are the boots? And for the spies helmet, is the size regulated by the cheek pads? if so what size is it now with the new ones in there? thanks

Boots are size US11, the HJC is now technically a medium with the new cheek pads. Can be either Large or medium. Cheeks pads are only ~$35.

I'm usually between a large and a medium depending on what kind of helmet it is. My X-11 is a large and fits good. How does it compare (as far as fitment)? Also what's the manufacture date on it?

I had a L X-11 back in the day, the X-12 fits much better IMO, little snugger in the right places. Not sure what the manufacture date is, can check when I get home tonight. I bought it new from Revzilla on 09/18/2011 for $569.99.
