May be its a Canadian thing. All 2015 and 2016 models here come with Dunlop Qualifier 2. Not bad tires at all IMO but rear is squared-off at 3K Miles (5K kms). I wanted something that lasts at least 5K miles (8K kms).

Very interesting, I had a 2013 CBR 600rr and that came with Q3's. My 2009 CBR 1000rr came with Q2's back in 09.

My 2013 came with q3's, they says aftermarket q3's are better then the ones that come with the bike.

on my steal horse i ride...

Hmmm, my 2013 came with Q2's. Maybe it was an early production one.

Q3s didn't hit the market till '13.

Stock tires are a harder compound for better mileage.
