Called all of the big gun Houston dealerships last week to inquire about the SP

Ended up having a good conversation with one of the guys at Honda of Houston. As far as the SP goes, they had only two delivered (thus far) and both had crate damage (scuffs and blemishes). They're now waiting on replacement parts from Honda to make them sales-ready. Regarding the SP2, they had no idea if they're getting any, how many they'd be getting or when. Even so, they're already holding deposits for them.

Team Mancuso (North and South) both said the same thing...they don't have any SP and are not sure if they're getting any. They confirmed they won't be getting the SP2.

Wild West will not be getting the SP or SP2

Stubbs Cycles would not confirm or deny anything. Told me to keep calling back to follow up...terrific salesmanship. The guy seemed irritated that I was calling. I could only suppose that I was not the first to call, and he was tired of getting questions about bikes that he had no delivery knowledge for, or that he wasn't going to be getting anyway.

We met a Wild West on Saturday to start our ride. Solracer from Motohouston.com was bike shopping and I was just looking around. The receptionist asked, "Is that your bike out there? Women have been taking pictures with it, customers and our employees have all been checking it out. What kind of bike is that?" I laughed and said, "It's an SP1, apparently you guys don't have one yet."

If you call Stubbs or go into Stubbs, ask for Ivan and tell him Bevo sent you.

Yeah, that was filmed before the start of the Road Racing season and before McGuinness crashed.

I just saw the matte black/red at my dealer over the weekend. The pictures really don't do this bike justice, it looks fantastic in person. I like the mirrors a lot, and they look like a direct swap to the previous gen..
