PERFECT Radar solution for bikes

H.A.R.D. system from Legalspeeding.com...

First of all, thanks to Scott1KRR here for a sweet simple mount that attaches to the HESD...

The HARD transmitter is the little box on the bottom front.

This transmits to your helmet through a very small reciever box...

That is barely visible on the helmet it's self.

That has a very thin wire that runs under your padding and popps up to a VERY bright LED that is so small you don't notice it at all while you ride, but blows up big when the radar goes off...

The Radar unit is the BELL RX. It's the same as the top line Escourt but has the new KU band protection that some forces are using for Photo...

The unit took 5 minutes to install total... Two bolts on the bike, it also has Velcro...

This is the Muts nuts and the guy at RadarBusters.com was way helpfull with the radar unit. The Legal Speeding guy has been great too with the HARD unit...

This has pictures, but really isn't a picture or Mod thread... It pretty much can help anyone...

Hmmmm... interesting...

how visable is it on the bike? How well would it work through a tinted screen?

too bad those are illegal here...

Tinted is not a problem...

It sits righ on the HESD... But I have seen radar mounted on fork blades and Horn brackets that are practically invisible, and this transmitter means you don't have to hear a damn thing...

Bell also have a new detector that is invisible to radar detector detectors... mounted under the nose and tucked back, with this led would be sweet...

Just remember to casually tuck the LED in to your cheek pad when you remove your helmet if you doget yanked...

Do you have a link or something that I could do a little more research on the topic?

I see my next project coming...

couple of strips of metal... The person used the radar protective box from legalspeeding too, just to keep the goo abd grit off it.

I also use the HARD unit, and it is great.
Just one bit of advise, if you are rideing at night be sure to turn the led away from your eye, or you won't be able to see anything when it lights up.

And yes Aaron is a great guy. He has rode with us on some of our rides.

dude, your ugly ass helmet should deter the cops for sure. This mod is pretty retarded - if you're going to speed, do it at the track. Otherwise, man up and eat the ticket for your speeding violation. Do you really think the cops won't pull you over when you are in fact speeding?

Save your money and your life - ride safe yo'
