what brand/type of oil are you using?
Yes, I have searched and haven't really found SPECIFIC information as far as brand and type. TYI.

Shell Rotella synthetic 5w-40.
May switch to Mobil 1 15w-50, not sure.

Cool, thanks. I have never heard of Shell Rotella, where can this be purchased from? Im assuming the Mobil 1 can be bought at any automotive store ie. autozone, kragen, etc.

I get it from Walmart for $12 a gallon.
Not the best oil, not the worst. Pretty low on the synthetic oil scale.

I am using Pro-Honda GN4 10W40. I will probably change to synthetic sometime down the line but I only have 1100 miles on the bike.

I'm using the Honda syn/blend. Doesn't someone here know all about oil? Or work for a anaylsis place? If so give us some info!! I'm looking to go full syn next. Any ideas? I use castrol syntec in the car(03 Honda element).

I use Amsoil 10W-40 and have had excellent results. And now you can order it online if you don't have a dealer near you.
