Clarksville, Tennessee

Anyone willing to help me work on my 05 Honda CBR1000RR? I'm located in Clarksville, Tennessee. I just recently moved here from Tampa Bay, FL.

Bet you're not liking the temps in the 20's we been having these past few days.

It does look like it's going to warm back up a little later on in the week.

What's kind of problems are you having?

I'm so glad the cold weather is gone!!! I have another phoblem. I did my first trip home on my bike. 2 minutes from my destination my dash goes out. I'd just put in a used wiring harness... my fuse keeps blowing. I have no running lights. I have a high beam and normal headlight, but I don't have a dash on my blue light(high beam) symbol shows on my dash. I have no break light:"( my fuse keeps blowing. I'm not gonna foul around with the electrical.I've already had one person fuck up my other harness. Also, my bike runs and I don't need my dash to ride...

Sorry to hear about your electrical gremlins, but trust me, you will want to investigate your wiring and find out why the fuse keeps blowing.

It could be something as simple as a frayed or pinched wire (especially when aftermarket goodies such as new turn signals or if a rear fender eliminator/integrated tail light has been installed) or any other type of electrical work has been performed (alarm system, etc). There's a chance the previous owner/shop did shoddy work and a loose connection/grounded connection is all it takes to blow a fuse...

If you are not comfortable poking around with the wiring, have a friend (who knows what they are doing) or a trusted bike mechanic look into it - g'luck!
