so the 190/55 was on back order forever...so I tried a 180/55. It's sweet!
My CBR is just chewing up the corners.

next thing up in 190/55 (readily available)is pilot power 2CT - great tire.

I wouldn't put less than 190 on my liter bike rim. EDIT: (6 in, right?) Those 180 are for smaller rim (5.5?)

The 1000rr has a 6" rear rim.
The 180 tires are generally put on 5.5" rims.

hi! is this topic still active? i onw a 06 1krr and currently rumnmning d208rr tires...and would
like to switch to pilot road 3...as i don't do track days! any oppinions comparing the 2 types of tires? tnk

I checked on michelins site and they recommend that the pr3's is used for sport touring and not really track.i dont think anything wil happen if u push them on the track cos their 2ct tyres.
