Not that I am trying to take mine to the track anytime soon but that is good to know. Once these wear out, I will be buying them again.

so the 190/55 was on back order forever...so I tried a 180/55. It's sweet!
My CBR is just chewing up the corners.

They don't offer a PR3 in a 200.

next thing up in 190/55 (readily available)is pilot power 2CT - great tire.

I wouldn't put less than 190 on my liter bike rim. EDIT: (6 in, right?) Those 180 are for smaller rim (5.5?)

The 1000rr has a 6" rear rim.
The 180 tires are generally put on 5.5" rims.

Re: Pilot Road 3's

I checked on michelins site and they recommend that the pr3's is used for sport touring and not really track.i dont think anything wil happen if u push them on the track cos their 2ct tyres.

Just an update, these tires are still holding up great! I rip curves and lean it over pretty hard for the street.. Not once have these almost slipped or caused an Oh shit moment. These pictures were taken just now and I have a little over 8000 miles on them.

Bike currently has a little over 12,000 miles on her. Put these on at 4,000 miles.
