Over 10,000 mi. confirmed on Pirelli Angels

I've run the PR3 several times on different bikes on the street. Usually get about 4300 on rear tire and 3:1 to the front. Great tires on front and back in twisties

Track is different tire, of course.

I have recently put a set of Angels on my 07' and I do not think I will use something else again . Really nice tires , one or two people on the bitch . Low or hi speeds . I went for a 190 / 50 at the rear .

I'm thinking about putting Angels on...I really am. Its not even about the money so much as the useable millage...one the tires are square it just sucks to ride. I'm just nervous about ST tires on the machine, especially because I'm so new, it wouldn't take much for me to cross a line I didn't know I had drawn closer to the edge by running ST rubber.

Mate , Angels is sweet . Wet or dry . Lines or no lines . Also , they make my Bitch quite comfy on the road . Smooth ride for a super bike .

They're rated for 168. Do some research on them and watch the youtube video where the Angels broke 7 records during a non-stop 24 hour endurance test on a Hayabusa where the average speed was 130+ for the full 24 hour test.

Was doing 280 km/h (174mp/h ) the other morning on my way to work with the two angels . Superb . Named them my Guardian Angels . Well done Pirreli . Just fricken awesome rubber mate .

I ran a set of the diablo strada (precursor to the Angels) on my FJR a while back. I got about 14k out of the front and about 11k out of the rear. that was on a much heavier bike, but I also did two track days (two up at Barber and Talladega) and many miles in the SE mountains (Ga, NC, SC and TN) as well as commuting 140 miles a day. ran well and lasted a long time you just have to keep an eye on the pressures (like all tires!).

This is the rear tire of my second set of Angels. They went on when the bike had 19,6xx mi. and I'm now at about 23.6k.


Excellent wearing tire. Had it plugged recently.
