Aside from Speed Rating, Tread is the only other thing that I think is relevant to the conversation. Tread is what gives you grip if I'm not mistaken, grip is what keeps the rubber side down.....I'm not trying to sound like a jackass but that's just what it boils down to.

When i got my 08 CBR1000 RR, that was my very first sport bike,i was extremly new to the bikes world.when i brought it home from dealer,my legs shaked from fear.i learned lots and lots of things thanks to this forum,i want to say thank you to all members.
Everything that i didnt know i asked or used the search button.there are many many questions and answers about tires on this forum.
And i think if you even asked before you buy, i bet that many members here would give you gread advices about tires or read and you will find whats best for you.

I agree that the search button does wonders, but if no one is using the same equipment I plan on using, there words do nothing for me. I'm no stranger to motorsports forums and I know how the "new/dumb guy" gets treated, that's why I pretty much do my own thing and ask for advice after the fact.
