Thanks to all for your answers it has explained a lot to me for a little while i had a lot of other questions about why it was happing like did i have to life the forks up to try and help it turn in or was i just being a little girl..

So thanks to everyone for helping now i need to move onto my next problem lol like new clutch

Actually the real reason the chicken strips are larger on the front is due to the front tire being a higher profile than the back. Even with the tires rotated at the exact same angle your front tire is going to have significantly more meat (oops I meant chicken) left on the edge of the tire. The higher profile is to facilitate turning.
