I've done two track days running at an upper int pace this season, bike barely consumed any oil. I guess it's hit or miss with these bikes, Road Atlanta is a fast track so I was rarely below 7/8k.

I will second Lees Cycle though, I've heard they do great work at a great price for what you get. Also, I'm about 90% sure the 12 motor will bolt right up. It's the same motor, was not changed in 12, and the frame is the same as well. If anything is different as far as the frame goes, it will be the rear subframe.

sunning pics bud!!! must say I love the 2008. i just moved from my 2005 to my new 2008 and cant believe the difference

There have been small changes from 08-12 motor wise....but all internal.
The frame and subframe are the same.

I'm planning on sending my motor to Lee's sooner than later.
