You can have a blast riding one if you have other 250's to ride with or you're just riding by yourself, but it can be frustrating on a race track full of 100 hp+ bikes. They are very cheap to run though. Tires last forever...compared to big bikes. I get one weekend on a pair of DOT's with my cbr. The Ninja can run 6 weekends and still have plenty of tread left for street riding.

Thank you very much for your post.
What kind of tires did you use at the track on the 250?
Did you watch the video i posted. That guy was carrying alot of corner speed to catch up to the other bikes in the corners.
What do you think? did riding the 250 at the track made you a better rider on the CBR1kRR? because i think the CBR is so well balance that it compensates/forgiving for minor rider errors or shortcomings? I hear once on a guy before he turned racer. That he had an SV650 track bike and i think a CBR1krr i think. I remember he said that he couldnt get away w/ alot of things in the sv650 that he did w/ the 1000cc bike. So he said he really had to perfect he's form (braking, body positionin, lines, corner speed, etc ) on the SV650 to perfection. And as a result he got really fast on the 1000cc bike.
Which track/s did you take the 250 to?
