The rider walked away with bruises, and rode the bike the following day.

Sep. 2011 Got cut off on the Hwy, panic break squeeze n broke collar bone n fractured 3 ribs, Dec. I bought another one.

I actually stayed up somehow. The guy you see slide across right in front of the camera, I slipped right in between him and his bike, cut straight to the inside, and somehow avoided the oil slick... The guy on the Esurance bike blew the motor on the start and spewed oil everywhere.

I think there were only a handful of us on the front 1/3rd of the grid that ended up avoiding the mess.
