My 2008/9/10 build bike

Earlier this season I posted my old 2006 build up in here (Link). Since I finished that bike, I had the itch to move from a street bike to a pure track bike, since the funds was too tied up when riding the streets with insurance and bike prices here...

Fast forward to early August, and a Danish top rider was selling his hardly used spare Superbike and I wasn't spending much time considering this, since the build price on these far exceeds my funds. The price was fair and I were now a happy owner of a build SC59. Two weeks later the street bike was sold, and I was able to breath again economically

So I've had three track days on it these past six weeks, and just wanted to share a few pics of the bike and a spec list

The engine is blueprinted and run in on two maps via Bazazz. It puts down 201whp/119Nm on the dyno. The rev limit is moved up to 14000rpm and is pretty fast. The engine is assembled of parts from 9/10 and the frame is 2008, hence the thread title.
Curb weight with all the titanium and weight reduction done, is around 168-169Kgs. Pretty impressive....

I needed to add some fluorescent, and just did the undertail. For next season there will be a bit more paint on the fairings, but still black/orange!

A small video I put together on Anderstorp of the last session before I went back. Sorry for the shaky cam, but my tank shell vibrates, hence the GoPro vibrating/shaking. It's hard to tell on the video, but running 1.45s when trafic is not slowing me too much....

It was still expensive, but a good buy relative to the build price!

Regarding the exhaust, the Rules in Scandinavia regarding race track noise are becomming somewhat of a hasle. 95dB max almost anywhere and 99dB on special occasions.

Regardsless of Bike, the Devil is one of the few to perform almost flawlessly. Mind you, my Bike is tuned a lot, but makes the cut with the 46mm dB killer. 50mm is around 102dB and without 110 ish on passing.

I've crashed three times (!!) these three past trackdays, and the exhaust have held up great. Sounds great too and on standard engine the 50mm dB killer is more than sufficient and still sounds great. I would recommend this over Akra, two brothers, ixil and whatever other exhausts are being used regarding performance, but Sound just as much. Looks great, sounds great and performs above expectations for a 200whp Bike!
