How do you make the bracket?
I thought all of them came with the little metal piece. I just took a bolt out and put the metal piece in the put the screw over it. I bought mine used though

He built a custom fairing stay for my 2012 and it is gorgeous!!! He does great work. Way better than some of the mass produced crap by some big name companies.

Don't be a road crayon, pavement does not care how cool you think you look in a t-shirt and shorts.

Gave it a little more room to breath.
Did stock exhaust mod- 4hrs work
Intake flappers, pair, and custom tune is next.
Spent my budget on protection- covers/sliders, tires, suspension, rearsets, 520 conv and bazzaz. Full exhaust is next year.
Here is a pic of the stock exhaust after removing cat- still cleaned it up a little after the pic. Welding's done and paints drying tonight.

Garage
Changed my gearing.

I went with a Vortex steel +2 rear sprocket.
Made a very nice improvement. Takes off quicker. Shortened the gear-spread a bit.
The bike feels like it should. The stock gearing is too tall.
It's a cheap performance mod that delivers good bang for the buck.

Speedometer is now 4-5mph off. It reads a little higher than I am actually going.
This is an added benefit, because it will help me keep my speed down on the streets!
