Question Question about fairings

Hi- I was wondering if anyone could help me.

Can I take just the headlight fairing from an 05 cbr 1000rr and put it on my 06 without any kind of modification. I have seen a few folks speak about full conversations, but i just need the headlight fairing changed.

Likely not. The fairing mounts were changed in 2006. But the good news is that the 2007 fairing will fit. I’ve used some aftermarket fairing kits in the past. PM me if you want a recommendation or view my build threads.
