Need help with the 2005 CBR1000RR

Hi guys I bought the 2005 honda CBR1000RR last month but want to install a new fairings for it.But when i take the old fairing off i see something missing right under the air intakes. After searching around I believe its a call Air Injection Control Valve (?) but the tube must be attach to something? Not familiar with that year or the "pair mod", but from what I've seen that is one way to do it.

Didn't they just used to stuff a marble or something in it to block it off? Can you see if that hose is plugged with something?
