Sort of. Then again, not necessarily.
Ten Kate race/build for multiple classes at club regional and national level and when they run the Honda or HRC ECU have no issues running their rear sets setup for GP shift which keep the Honda QS components. Honda Racing UK campaigned a number of SP1 and SP2s in Irish Roads and the odd BSB round that used the HRC ECU, all using stock Honda QS unit.
In fact they even ran Ian Hutchinson's 2017 right shift pedal bike (linkage rod runs through the swing arm pivot bolt) on a stock Honda QS setup. If anyone is going to punish a QS setup it would be Hutchie running a Roads race in anger
A fellow SP2 owner in Florida has his race bike SP2 running Evoltech (I believe) rear sets setup for GP shift and is running stock Honda QS and has zero issues.
But another fellow SP2 owner in Florida runs his race bike with Bonamici rear sets and has unending problems and is about to install a set of Ten Kate rear sets so hopefully resolve the stock Honda QS issues.
All above bikes (including the Ten Kate build bikes run various sized racing slicks and non-stock sprockets.
The Honda QS components are particularly sensitive about the plane and angles and offset of the shift pedal, shift rod/linkage layout.
Stick to the Honda layout specs and the stock Honda QS will work.
Or you could just buy the Woolich (or HM) QS setups - if you are really brake HRC has a load cell QS linkage for sale - TKRP tell me that one also works, but then again at $3800 just for the load cell switch it better LOL
The pro level builders seem to abandon the stock Honda QS once they use alternate ECUs.
