2017 SP Mail In Flash VS. Woolich Home Tune

My bike is stock & I've been putting this off for over a year & still undecided weather to mail in my ECM for a Woolich flash or purchase the software/hardware & do it myself. I'd also have to purchase a laptop.
I'll either keep the stock Ti exhaust or go with a slip on only like graves.

Just wondering from those who would recommend one over the other for my type of riding. I don't race, I ride the canyons on weekends.

There is a big price difference between the two & just not sure if the expense/time tuning can be justified by pushing through the canyons & not racing to benefit more.

Thanks to anyone who can offer up positive solid feedback for the 2017+ gen blades.

The bikes run incredibly lean from the factory plus you are limited to 73% opened throttle valves

I did the mail in route, then within a couple weeks I bought the woolich system with auto tune.

I find myself tweaking the fuel maps every few weeks.

I would recommend the woolich system. It has worked out well for me.

Thanks for the feedback & the off line help as well!

Iím curious as to why local (to me anyway) tuners, that offer drive up service, arenít using Woolich software & only offering FTECU that as Iíve read is not the best product for our bikes.

They are using FTECU because they are either stupid or incompetent - maybe both.

The simple fact you cannot even dyno an FTECU tuned bike should be a red flag - to keep promoting FTECU SC77 tunes is borderline fraud.

Because I am not a forum vendor I cant offer public facing services, but I do respond to PMs and take phone calls

Alright thanks for that, I know you have many threads on this topic also if I decide to go that route instead of mail in flash.

I wanted the ability change things around. When I got the flash I was 100% stock. But then I bought a Yoshi slipon., and gutted my cat. So I knew that would affect the AFRís. So for me having the Woolich system meant I could make my own mods as time went by without having to constantly send in my ECU.

My daughter got an R6 and I immediately got the Woolich for her bike too, and like with mine, it has been worth it

Between Danoís tune and stock there was a big difference. Totally worth doing if you just plan on tuning one time and not making any mo mods to your bike
