Is it not possible to upload ignition and fuel maps to the Honda ECU the way HP Tuners etc. do on the cars?

How will this type of hybrid reflash/in-line signal modding work for complete digital bikes like the SP2 where torque management, ABS, suspension adjustment and reaction are all interdependent?

Anything for the 2017s yet?

IAP/ TPS mapping via the flashed ECU cannot handle all of the requirements???

The thing that brings about the biggest improvement is removing the factory restrictions since these restrictions hinders the throttle response and reduces the engines output.

Where can Canadians go to have their ecu flashed since Danos specifically says USA bikes only?

We have flashed quite a few of our Canadian customers ecu's just email me a request for a Pay Pal invoice and we can send you an invoice which will cover the extra cost of shipping back to you in Canada. Thanks Dan

Is Honda voiding the warranty on bikes with flashed ECUs? Or are these all out of warranty period bikes?

From what I've always understood, flashing is voiding any warranty related to the ecu.

I have no idea if flashing the ecu would void the warranty, but how would Honda know if you have flashed the ecu since you sure can't tell by looking at the ecu. Thanks Dan

An improper tune could point directly to the ECU if the engine damage was ignition or fueling related. Honda could ask to see the ECU. However if you return it to stock- assuming there's no anti-tamper mechanism- they'd be none the wiser.

ECU's keep a tally of flash state, version etc. And if like the car guys Honda dealerships have any sort of ECU reading tool the tool could easily via checksum see the state for the flash.

Now Honda may not be as picky as many GM dealers or the dealer may look the other way, but I would imagine unless the dealer has an ECU edit tool to either save settings/state or read current state, if you take the bike in and the fix involves an ECU update then the changes would be over written..

In that case it would be useful to be able to reapply the changes.

Is the flash/ECU edit interface not able to read current ignition and fuel tables? It would be very useful to be able edit the tables in the ECU rather than rely on an external box like the Power Commander.

What tool is being used to flash the ECU? Is the new flash locked? Can it be edited by another tuner?

Any work being done on the 2017's yet?
