2006-07 CBR1000RR ECU Flashing !!!

Dano's Performance is now offering ECU Flashing for the 2006-07 Honda CBR1000RR models. This service is only available to our U.S. customers. Our ECU flash removes all the emission restrictions programmed into the ECU from the factory. These restrictions greatly hinder engine performance and throttle response. We will optimize both the ignition and the fuel curve which will unleash horsepower from your engine. This ECU flash will all but eliminate the need for a Power Commander and ignition module. If you would like to have your ecu flashed and add a Quick Shifter we offer a package deal for both items at $415.00.Keep in mind you can pick and chose the options you want and don't want programmed into your ECU. The following is a list of options available with our ECU flash service:
Optimize fuel curves across all gear ( same as a Power Commander)

Optimize ignition curves across all gears (remove RPM & throttle based ignition restrictions)

Raise RPM limiter

Adjust idle speed

Disable pair valve

Disable steering damper

Disable O2 sensor

Disable exhaust valve

Reset radiator fan turn on/off temperature (205 / 195 )

Any idea if this will be available in the future for the 04 as well? Or maybe I could buy an 06 ECU and have it flashed with the 04-05 RPM limit?

2004 CBR1000RR (Yelena)- modded track/street bike, 398lb RTR!
2002 RC51 (Christina)- rode hard and put away wet, sold
2006 CBR600RR (Nikki) - how the addiction started, sold

Sorry we have no plans to offer this service for the 2004 models and as far as using a later model ecu they are not compatible. Thanks Dan

By removing the all factory restrictions ( which a power Commander can not do) you will experience better acceleration and much improved throttle response. Thanks Dan

As stated before :By removing the all factory restrictions ( which a power Commander can not do) you will experience better acceleration and much improved throttle response.Motorcycles just like cars are subject to emissions and noise requirements so as a result the factory has to do a bit of clever tuning strategies to get them to comply with these requirements resulting in a detuned engine.Your Power Commander only gives you the ability to adjust the fuel curve but it doesn't allow you to remove these factory restrictions.Seems lots of people are more concerned with horsepower figures then the quality of engine performance. Thanks Dan

yeah, but HP is part of quality engine performance, no? nevertheless, seems like a good deal. bought my bike used a few months ago, so I gotta check with the original owner directly to get the full list of mods on the bike since it was tracked, and determine the best options for the flash.
