2017 Ecu removal

Hey guys. Looking to send in my ecu shortly to get flashed from my 17. Wondering how easy it is to get to the ecu? Any help on what bolts need to be removed to access it. I see the 2 in between the gas cap and bars, is that it? Thank you!

Not sure about the 2017, but the earlier gen has two bolts holding the tank cover on that are under the front of the seat. ECU sits on top of the air filter. I also had to unscrew a few connector holders to get it out.

Its easy peasy. Take off the tank cover, pull up the fuel tank and it is staring right at you. Unplug the 3 connectors. And remove the black plastic retainer.

Quick question. To take off the tank cover is it the 2 screws under the seat or the 2 screws near the bars, or both? Thanks!

Be careful pushing the connectors back cause if the pins are offline u can push out the hollow pins and u won’t have a connection
