The '04 evo will fit '06 bodywork, but does require minor surgery on the lower with a dremel....just a clearance scallop or two, can't remember.
Other than that you're fine.

Check fuel pressure while running, say at 2k or even 1.5k rpm....if it'll run that low.

Also extremely possible injectors are munged up with that old of fuel sitting in the system for that long...

Flame away if I'm wrong here, but I'm 99.99% that if the ECU senses a break in any of the injectors connections, and this goes for various sensors...

They make all their own stuff...1-pc, 2-pc, jackets. Both off the rack and custom fitted. Think they'll also do slight tailoring to brands as well, not sure. Been a while since I've been down there.

929 yes, 954 probably, 04 thru 07 nope.

Had to hijack the one out of my 929 to make the toggle ignition work on it.
No such beast found in the 4/7's.

Take a big piece of thin cardboard, cut center out to slip in behind rotor, and pencil around OD. Remove and measure.
