What so you guys use to clean your bikes. I get the sticky road grime on my rear tire and that crap doesn't want to come off. I don't want to use a soft scotch bright as it rubs the color off of the wheels. Just checking to see what everyone uses. Also what other cleaners do you use to keep your bike nice and clean.
When I was a service writer for honda, we used honda polish. Then in 06 or 07 they banned it from America, so super bad for your lungs of something so we switched to plexus. Its awesome, just expensive. When the new formula honda polish came out we did not switch back because its not nearly as good as it used to be.
For greasy stuff on metal I've found WD40 to be pretty useful. Honda spray cleaner and polish on the fairings is pretty nice, Lucas has a spray mist that works well too, just try to keep it away from your contact points, the bike gets slippery as hell.

Simple Green HD and a microfiber cloth take care of just about any grease or debris that gets on my bike, especially from riding in the rain. Don't use regular Simple Green cause that supposedly doesn't go well with metal.
+1 on plexus and Honda polish. Plexus works awesome for helmet windshields. I try not to use water at all. Usually just use a good mist n wipe before every ride.
Same here. I've found that washing with soap and water gets the bike "dirtier", rather I have a ton of cracks and crevices I need to wipe down after. I only do it if I get caught in the rain or it ends up being dirty all over.
