Things are very different here... Not nearly as much Police Forces as in the states... And the Police doesn't have good equipment (cars, bikes, etc)...

Well... Not really... Ok... It's "cool" for when you want to have some fun on the road, but it sucks on every other situations...

I won't say Police here is completely useless, but our laws don't protect the Police, actually is the other way around. For instance, a Police officer can only draw his weapon after he get's shot at. A few months ago a police officer was arrested because he caught a robber red-handed assaulting a place, he ran away driving a car, Police chased and fired a couple of rounds... Killing a passenger on the car, that was actually the robber's son...

Because of many other situations like this, the Police Officers most time just don't care... Because if something happens, they will get almost always in trouble, and the "bad guy" usually walks away the next day...

For all you guys that told me I needed to slow down... well... You couldn't be more right.

I was going way too fast for the road I was driving in, at at least double the speed limit.

When I saw the car sticking it's nose, I braked, but not too hard... I had more than enough time to pass safely, but when the front wheel touched the white line from the crosswalk, the front tire slipped, and off we went...

I also made this video afterwards showing what were the damages to my gear and bike.

So, here's another guy that learned the hard way.
This was my first crash in 6 years of riding, and... I think that I was really lucky.

I ain't gonna lie: I ride way too fast sometimes too. But I always keep an eye out for "what if?"

Sold my CBR and just bought a 600 project bike. That'll automatically help me slow down by a MPH or two. Lol

Me too... And I pass by that location every day... I was half-a-mile away from my home...

But that day I was going faster than usual (wanted to get home as soon as possible, etc, etc...)

Could have been worse... Didn't loose the screw... and if it were 30 minutes earlier, I would have to do that with rain pouring down on me...
