'05 subframe for sale

seat subframe for sale with all tabs removed along right sdie. Rear brake reservior, heat sheild, and plastic pipe cover loop removed. painted semi gloss black. i was told it is straight, but never put it on my bike. looking for $75 +shipping

i have to take that at the word of the person i bought it from. they told me it was straight. it did not appear to have any damage when i received it. there were no sracthes or scraps on the painted or unpainted surfaces.

i was going to install on my '06 but ran into an issue removing the old one. the forward top bolt is a very large button head type with a very shallow hex and there is a nut behind the frame. i attempted to remove the bolt from the outside and not loosening the nut from behind due to it requiring lifting or removing the gas tank. not sure which but i was lazy. i ended up striping the hex in the bolt trying to loosen it, never budged.

at that point i was really pissed off and out of anger and frustration is just cut the stuff off the one on my bike.

now i am looking for another replacement.

Thanks for the heads up, I'm about to cut all that crap off of mine and powdercoat it, I'll have to be careful about that bolt.
