I want to change to a dark smoke windscreen on my new bike and curious what others had or liked. I used a sportech chrome on my siver F4i and it held up great. Im thinking about the factory honda smoked screen, Puig, or zero gravity but I have not seen any in person or in pics to see what I think would look, work, and last well. Thanks in advance for posting your pics or opinions.

I got the light smoke puig db and i think it should be a tad darker, but the quality is good. I had a zg on my f4i that seemed flimsy.

Those Puig look nice, any idea if the logo is a removable decal?
i got a ZG dark smoke. I have an extra one too. Great fit. Stay away from the Hot bodies one. Bad fit.

Yes it is... Hair dry it right off
Thank you for the info. Any recommendations for only Puig dealers? My local powersports company can not get them.

As always / got mine from Brad good price and took 4days
Ill be selling my hotbodies on Ebay and getting a Puig myself because the fit sucks on the hotbodies screens. Get a Puig.
I went with the Honda/HRC Tinted Taller Screen, The tint is just dark enough to not be too light and light enough to still see through it perfectly with a dark visor on (or clear) you also get a sun shield with the HRC screen so the back of the clocks do not melt from the sun and you can also see the clocks in full sunlight.

Screen:

Sun Shield:

I have been more than happy with it and it does the job of pushing the wind higher up so you can tuck down and not get buffeted. Sticker on the screen is removable should you require.

sorry to get off topic, but where did you get the brake reservoir cover?

where did you buy that. tricky thing for me is i'd also need the repsol sticker. i want to tint my front lights too or get it painted repsol blue...
agreed about the hot bodies

the only bad thing about the repsol is that you cant change the screen :(

is it possible to get the sun shield separately? I wouldn't mind trying to install that with my puig. The honda shield is simply not dark enough. Let me know if you can get a shield please?

Has anyone seen the Honda/HRC Tinted Taller Screen and the Puig DB side by side?
I'd like to know which one deflects the wind higher away from my helmet

I'm in the market for a new windscreen too and trying to decide between the two.
Good spot 2008 RR thats the company I bought my covers from the rear is what used to be the clutch res cover but it fits perfect as the rear cover on our bikes.

As for the question about the sun shield it comes as part of the windscreen package, having spoken to my local dealer he informs me they do not sell them on their own. But I will try and find a part number for you to see if you could order it elsewhere.

J4ever try this company out for headlight protectors in blue rather than spraying your lights, worse case scenario the blue doesnt match and you spray the protectors the right blue and keep your lights as standard. http://www.evlplastics.com/hondafireblade0809.html

Mine with protectors in place (sorry for the hijack).
