FYI....The PCIII is known to work but is not recommended or supported by the manufacturer. The PCV is the unit that is recommended and supported by the manufacturer.

Wrong. The PCIII is supported and recommeded for 08's. Just check their website.

The PCV is "only" for 09 models. Some are using the PCV on 08's as the 08 and 09 are basically the same, but that is not supported by the manufacturer.

thinking about going a different way on the dragbike. Honestly the pcv will most likely suit me better for a nitrous set up.

Bump it up, I also found another quickshifter that I had that I could not get to work correctly. It worked occasionally but not all the time, may be an easy fix but who knows. Buy the module and ill throw it in. If it doesnt work your not out anything but if you can get it to work u saved a ton of money.

Will the IM work with a PCV or will that require a new model?

Yeah, DynoJet said they will be coming out with a new IM and QS for the PCV. They just haven't released them yet.
