ya man.. from everything i have read it says like 170 stock or some shit like that.. i believe on akra exhaust website it says after adding the full exhaust u will have roughly 174
170...lol. Don't think so. Every dyno is different, so you can't compare numbers from one dyno to the next. Your bike might have higher numbers on another dyno. Whats more important is if you show a gain from your initial dyno run compared to your last, and even then its sketchy. I had my 08 tuned with PC3, BMC air filter, z bomb, Jardine RT5 slip, and flapper delete mod, and made about a 2whp difference from my initial run. My intial run was 157whp, and I ended up with 159whp. But I made about 10ft lbs. more in torque down low. The bike was very lean after all of the mods, and required quite a bit of fuel down low.
what is it meant to be stock?

Full system gives the big gains, ive read.
Dyno numbers mean NOTHING! The only thing they are good for is comparing differences in mods. Take it to another dyno it might read 10hp higher, or 12hp lower.

Means NOTHING
Hi,i'm a newbie from the UK,my 08 with full evo Akrapovic, PC111 and Pipercross filter which was set up at Crescent Suzuki showed a 170.45 RWHP which was less than my GSXR1000K6 with the same treatment.I was a bit dissapointed too but it has transformed it into a really good and too easy to ride bike. The mid range wallop is just awesome even though the top end feels a bit flat. The original down pipes apparantly flow well hence the limited increases over stock.Uk standard bike are coming out at between 159-162 RWHP.

Yeah mine was about the same right at 170hp 84ft/lb. As far as 157 I wouldnt worry about it man. A guy at a shop here has the same mods as you except he has Bazzaz and he has 177rwhp. All dynos really are diff.

150 stock with the timing limitation

full system will not add much on these
my 08 with just the two brothers slip on and zbomb put down 153. i will eventually be getting a pc3, custom map and a bmc race filter. hoping i hit 160.
I did that flapper mod yesterday and i cant believe how much better that feels, a full system & map must be awesome whatever the final gains are.
I did about the same mods and got a 15 hp increase.
Who cares about the numbers? Go for a smooth curve. Niners right, numbers mean crap. Not many of you out there can ride it to near the limit with the stock power anyway. Want more power for really cheap? re gear the bitch. Like adding NOS.

cant remember what my dads 08 made beore i think the dyno said about 153 or 154 then my dad added yoshi slip on bmc air filter power commander 3 and ignition module+tune and it ended up jumping to 163whp with 81 torque. Before the mods power died at 10k rpm now it goes up to 12.5 before it starts to die down.
I put mine on the dyno after the 600 mile service as I wanted to see what the curve and fuelling was like with the exhaust flap open and closed, I got 157.8 rwhp 76.1 TQ in stock form with the exhaust flap closed (on start) and 156.7 rwhp 75.7 TQ with the flap open.

This quest people have for the best numbers is a bit biased as people have said its different figures on diff dynos in diff countries and sea levels and climate.

I am far happier having 150bhp of usable power than 170bhp of not usable or on the edge of the bikes limits, so long as the curve is nice and smooth and has no major dips the final numbers dont mean jack shit and should be ignored.

I dyno`d my yesterday and my corrected number was 156 at the tire, and that just with a 2 bros slip on. I just wanted to see where I was starting at before race prepping it.
I think a lot of guys are still missing the point, diff dynos= diff numbers before and after matter as well as a smoother curve. 170 seems rather high to me
