Dang, that sprocket looks like hell.
Im thinking the tooth is the least of his problems, the rust is what I would notice.You getting a new chain too? I would think that broken tooth would tear up the chain.

I remember a friend on a Can-o-tuna and I saw his chain and it was rusted to hell, I told him he had to lube the chain often and that that chain was in need of changing...his response...Doesnt the chain get its lube from the oil pan chain reservoir![]()

i thought that too but the chain is ok,think will just put on another 530 front sprocket run it for a few thousand more klms and then go the full monty with a 520 conversionYou getting a new chain too? I would think that broken tooth would tear up the chain.
