16 tooth sprocket made into 15!

changing out my original front sprocket to a 15 tooth and found i already had one!!!! only has 7000klms on it too:sad010:

beh, grind it down. Plenty of other teeth still left. :D

You getting a new chain too? I would think that broken tooth would tear up the chain.

Im thinking the tooth is the least of his problems, the rust is what I would notice.

I remember a friend on a Can-o-tuna and I saw his chain and it was rusted to hell, I told him he had to lube the chain often and that that chain was in need of changing...his response...Doesnt the chain get its lube from the oil pan chain reservoir :)
Nice, youve gone down a tooth and dont even have to adjust the chain slack!

it aint rust mate thats rubber that you can see just fouled up with road grime and chain lube....

i thought that too but the chain is ok,think will just put on another 530 front sprocket run it for a few thousand more klms and then go the full monty with a 520 conversion:popcorn2:
