of course it's secondary, but still, for those occasional trips (into the city or off to lake tahoe) are you guys finding the 1000RR to be OK for two up riding?

i sat on her in the showroom and it seems like it is pretty cramped in comparison to my previous steeds: R6 and VFR, but probably something that it OK since the fun factor must be way high.

i'm still bikeless and need all the info i can gather to make the best choice. thx guys

I actually ride 2-up fairly often - my GF loves riding.

She says the RR is much better than the RC51 for her - everything about it is better. The passenger seat is hard as a rock, but shaped a little better than the RC51's. She begins to hurt after 30-45 minutes or so, but then so do I.

I do it fairly often too. GF says it's more aggresive than 929, but more comfortable overall.
