Hello everyone,
I'm going to check out a 2013 CBR1000RR this weekend with 15k miles and full ohlins suspension. From my research the SP model didn't come out till 2014 so this isn't a SP even though it has gold wheels ohlins and the 2014 tricolor fairings. He is asking 6500 and I'm wondering is this is a good deal or not and if this bike has any uncommon issues I may not know about besides general maintenance things. Thanks in advance.

Hey!

Most likely, it's just a custom build with SP-style fairings and Ohlins suspension. The gold forks and wheels could have been added separately, just like the 2014 fairings. I saw similar ones at the motorcycle rally, this year there will be the same event. The price seems fair overall. It's best to check the VIN to know for sure.

FWIW: It doesn't have an SP subframe, and the rear seat-cowl isn't the same as an actual SP (which did debut the following year). But, it does look well done. To echo what morgot said above... price seems fair, check the VIN.
