Hi Guys,

Just installed an OEM quickshifter on my 2017 CBR1000rr (standard). I have it set for upshifting and downshifting as depicted by the up/down indication on the TFT display. The upshifting works great.

Can anyone provide advice on how to use it on the downshift? I assume the OEM product doesn't provide an auto blipping function as such and therefore the throttle must be open whilst downshifting?

It has autoblipper downshifts but is super sensitive to the angle - must be set to maintain a 90 degree angle between he shift rod and shift shaft.
It also acts funny if you are trying to do reverse shift with the stock set up.

The presence of the Quickshift hardware is what enables the autoblipper feature. Selecting the Quickshift option in the menu turns it on.

If the throttle is not at 0% then the autoblipper is disabled during operation. You will see this as a - in the gear indicator display box instead of the current gear.

For quickshift up-shifts the clutch lever switch must detect no clutch lever movement at all.

OEM Honda QS?
What was the shifting like before the Lightech rear sets?
Why the change to Lightech rear sets?
What tire size and sprocket sizes?

Most likely the 200 rear tire is the problem.
The bike is not calibrated to run any other tire than 190/50.

If you run a 190/50 do you have the same issue?

I can unlock the Sports Kit Menu for you so you can set the bike up properly (y)
