600 or 1000?

Looking to get new bike but can't decide on 600 or 1000. For those of you who have had both what is your oppinion? I do only street riding. All I have ever owned is a 1000, but thougt I would give a 600 a try. I just think I will miss the power of the 1000. Any oppinions would be greatly appricated. Thanks:thumbsup:

Since you seem to be experienced go with the 1000.
well as much as 1000's are fun and powerful there really isn't much you can't do on a 600 than 1000. 600's are smaller and more agile into turns and obviously lighter. I guess if you can handle the respect and the power of a 1000 i don't see any point of getting a 600. 600's are more of an introduction into a 1000 for those who need a step up. i mean.you can have fun on both but i would just say stick with a 1000 and maybe find a friend with a 600 that you could switch with
Lots of twistys or track days, 600, more street or open roads, 1000, I have gone back and forth and live at 4200 ft elevation, made the choice your pondering now, to get back into racing, track days, race plans fell through, 600 was not too fun after having a 1000 for the street, but track only I would still take a 600 any day.

very true sir!
Having both:

If you only ride on the street then I say 1000RR.

Next I would say, why don't you do trackdays??? :D

For the street I say 1000 for sure. Easier to pass cars, easier on the engine.

The new RR is pretty light and agile, as well.
