I cant decide what fits me the best.

Heres what I want and what im shooting for.

-to eliminate the U.S. timing restriction with the smoothest power curve and no lean out over 9500k rpms.
-only mods are taylormade exhaust, flapper mod, and possibly an air filter.
-im taking the bike for a full tune once I have everything on.

I was wondering, since im getting the bike tuned, does it matter what route I go?

Please give your opinion on what I should do in this situation.

Since you are going to get map done the lean out is not an issue. Get a PCV and a Zbomb or IRC.
ya thats what i figured. 2 more questions..

will the pcV be ok on an 08? i know they are only listed for the 09 but for the little $ more i might as well get the new one.

which is more custom tune friendly..? the Zbomb or the dynojet Ignition Module?

Im looking to buy everything tonight. Taylormade offers a package deal. exhaust/pc3/IM for like 1400

I don't have one but from the info available on this site it works.

As far as a fuel (PCV map)? I don't think it matters either way. But of course the IM is mappable while the Zbomb and IRC are static. You'd most likely have to pay to have the IM mapped as well unless you just run the canned map. After everything is said and done I doubt you'll see much of a gain over a Zbomb or IRC while paying significantly more. I don't think the IM works with the PCV either but I'm not positive.
ya i remember seeing some of your posts on that huge thread. it was hard to get solid info from it, most guys were just fighting ha.

thanks for the help man
I went bazzaz z-fi + z-bomb. A better system imo.

Either should be easy to work with on a custom tune.

A shop would charge extra to map the ignition timing on the IM. But if you are just using one of the maps that gets rid of the retard, they won't need to adjust it.

It seems pointless to buy a mappable ignition setup, then use it just for the one thing it doesn't do as well as cheaper alternatives. But its your money, get whatever you think is going to work best for you.
going with Z-bomb. anyone running sales on the PC and z-bombs? or any price breaks for being a forum member?

Superbike Supply-user name is lexus rx
HardRacing-user name is HardRacing
Dan Kyle Racing-user name LDH
Any of them will be able to get you a good deal on the PCV and either the Z-Bomb or IRC.

Although the IM does cost more, it allows you to use the quick shifter that DynoJet makes.

pcV does as well don't it?
With the PCV you will need to use the SFM (Secondary Fuel Module) to use the DynoJet QS. Unfortunately, the SFM hasn't been released yet.
Something else to think about is check with whoever is going to tune your bike and see which he is familiar with some may have not used the bazzaz yet.

We aren't talking about the bazzaz fuel module, just the timing adjustment options.

If a tuner can't figure out how to use the z-bomb or IRC, they should sell their tools, and never touch a vehicle again.
anyone know of any good shops in northern ohio?
