Hi,

Is anyone using an AIM SOLO 2 DL track timer / data logger with their SC77?

It seems as though it needs to be wired into the CAN H and CAN L and cannot use the K-Line under the pillion seat.
From the instructions here it looks like I can splice a wire into the OEM dash connector. I'm just wondering if there is a better way that doesn't involve cutting/splicing the existing wires. Is there another can-h and can-l connection somewhere that is unused or a better way to do this with some kind of splitter?

Thanks!

Tap into the CAN junction connector.
You can just add 2 new wires to the junction.
It is a large flat connector off located on the harness off near where the ABS modulator sits.

This is how I tap into the CAN bus.

I couldn't locate anything that looks like that. It's definitely under the rider seat?

Hello guys
Is it possible to connect with AIM SOLO 1 ?

Thank you
I don't think the Solo has a K-Line compatible ECU connection.
SoloDL has an ECU interface, but not sure about the Solo.

Under the seat.
Tucked in the frame rail, behind the big harness section.

Thanks - they hid that one pretty well!
It seems to be on some really short wires also, I can barely get to the back where the wires are. I'm reluctant to solder the wires onto the top of the connector (I've searched around for a similar connector type, but with no luck).

Testing the connection - I can receive data. So soldering like this could be an option (although not ideal)

Hardly any wire exposed at the back and hard to even see the canbus wires below the frame. Also all of my connector slots seem to be full already.
