So I received my full exhaust today. I ordered this in anticipation of getting the HRC ecu which is a few weeks away so for now I will just post the pics of the pipe not installed. As usual it is of the highest quality - like Frank's Red Hot I put that (Akrapovic) shit on everything! Literally all my cars and bikes except for the bikes I have a contract to run a different pipe

The headers have cast oval outlets, a first for oval but not cast as I have seen that on the 1299 Superleggera - this is for durability and not a big difference in weight.

Anyway in the pics you can see an aluminum exhaust hanging bracket.....this was sent by mistake. The EVO exhaust actually comes with a carbon hanger.

I weighed the exhaust and it is 11 lbs, it is supposed to save 6 lbs over stock.

@SP2-Monkey has posted in another thread that he has the World Superbike Akrapovic - to me the headers don't look like they have oval outlets and may have larger diameter with different castings but they also look a little longer BUT when you run larger headers you typically need SBK cams, in my experience, so it may not work so great (I hope it does).

@peterj59 it would help if you answered my first question. I am certain I received the correct exhaust as I weighed it and the results were in line with Akrapovic's published specs.

I mentioned above that the exhaust I received is different than the exhaust @SP2-Monkey received. It is my understanding that his exhaust is the WSBK version, which likely requires different cams and tuning you can only get with Motec or Magneti Marrelli and IMHO you don't want the super trick exhaust - good luck getting the most from it and/or finding replacement parts.

The link you provided shows a different part number: S-H10E2-APLT which looks like it is for the SC77 CBR1000RR

I Google(d) the part number for the exhaust I purchased: S-H10E3-APLT and I found Biohazzard Cycles selling for the price I paid of $2000 and I have confirmed my exhaust weighs 11 lbs which matches Akrapovic's website here --> Akrapovič this is exhaust is for the SC82

This other exhaust is 15.5 lbs (heavier than mine) --> Akrapovič

Akrapovic DOES make special exhaust(s) for race teams and those are generally UBER spendy and not really meant for the general public. I know because I have a 14k Akrapovic EVO 4 SBK exhaust specially developed for the Panigale R WSBK racer and I HAD to run special pistons, cams and a full MLE240 to get it all to work properly.

Anyway, I hope we can all get to the bottom of this. Can you post a pic of your exhaust please?

no my headers do not look like what you have, see pdf, thats what mine look like, ok thanks for the follow up, just a little confusing because the pictures posted on akra website for the e3 and ss models donot show the cast headers , a friend of mine purchased the $3500 model for his 21 cbrrr, also very confusing they akrapovic released the e2 version they dont even show this on their website but it is my understanding that this is a hrc racing part, so you answered my question, that the e3 does have the cast headers and i dont have to spend 3500 to get this feature.

the above site is selling "e2" hrc racing part, not identified on akra web page
also selling the e2 hrc racing part for 20 eu, or 21 cbrrr once again not identified on akra website.
these are like what you said SP2 monkey model. Ok once again thanks for clearing things up for me it is good to know i dont have to layout 3500 to get those cast headers

i posted akra schematic in pdf, my exhaust has the type of headers which is item 12 in the pdf, nothing like yours, i didnt take pics of my exhaust because i am returning it

I noticed that too, Im not sure why that happens, i was also confused but apparently the S-H10E2-APLT is a SC82 HRC part, if you checked out those two websites,
it specifically notes 2020 cbr1000rr-r fireblade SP,
any way i own a 2021 cbr1000rr-r fireblade sp and a 17 cbr SP2,

Also tech moto and mosaic are EU webpages and if you click on those links you can clearly see they are for the EU2020 cbr1000rr-r, which is US 2021 cbr1000rr-r, so that S-H10E2 - APLT is for sc 82 not sc77.

if you reference the pdf see item 12, that image is clear enough to see they dont use the cast headers.

thanks for your input and remember this is a SC 82 not SC77 thread, oh did i mention i own both

Helo,

roadracerx how is the feeling with the full exhaust..because i think you put it with stock ECU ?
Because I also mount the full akra evolution exhaust but in France with Euro5 on the stock full exhaust there is a cata and the ecu is too poor under 6000 rpm...and the bike doesn't react well under these 6000...so I prefer ofr moment run with the stock full exhaust...I wait for flashing ECU whan available...

But i think you have HRC eCU so it solve the problem...

@BLADE711 I have a full exhaust sitting on the shelf ready to install when I receive the HRC ecu which should be in the next week or so. For now I have the stock exhaust with the Akrapovic slip-on, which has a slightly better feel but mostly sounds better. Saves a bit of weight as well but nothing noticeable.

@dreamzboy are you asking about the black Akrapovic logo like the stock exhaust? I have heard that if you pull the sticker off it is laser-etched on there. I DO NOT KNOW this for sure but I have heard that. I can tell you that my Akrapovic exhausts for my KTM 450s have nothing under the sticker FWIW.
