I was told only Powerhouse dealers (dealerships that only sell Honda) are getting them, and they don't have enough for even all of them. All of the dealerships got their allotments announced a couple of months ago, and zero got alloted to any dealerships here in Nevada. California got a few.
A lot of dealers weren't taking deposits because they just didn't think they would be assigned any to sell. I read some announcement when the allotment finally happened and quickly started calling around, hunting for dealerships that got one. Got the timing right I guess and found one to put a deposit down on.
Now I'm being told that it's "scheduled to be released" at the end of this month. I wish I knew if that means released from the port to the transporter? Released from the transporter to the dealership? Or released from the dealership to me? Anyways, hoping to pick it up first week of August.
Of course they could do a second production run later, but I kind of hope not, hehe. Unless I get screwgled out of mine.
Oh, and I've been told it'll end up being like 32-33k when all is said and done. It's nice having grown-up money.
