Bazzaz Maps For Download 08/09

I recently sent some maps to one of the members (Big Will) from this forum and he seems pretty impressed with it. So i decided to upload two maps to uploading.com for people to download.

My bike is a CBR1000 08 model (Euro spec, Australia), with flappers removed, Arrow slipon and Bmc Air Filter. Note both maps are for an AFR of 13.0 so your fuel consumption will increase but not by much.

This the map i created on the road using the self mapping option:

This is the map i got tuned on the dyno using the self mapping option:

Enjoy and let me know what you think about them when tested with different pipes, air filter and mods.

I was so impressed with the first map, I havent got to the second one yet.
I got a couple I'm willing to share as well, maybe we can get something going
Thanks!!!! I will def have to check these out!! I have been playing around with my map but it is a definite learning process. If my bike has the z-bomb your bike being a euro model really shouldn't matter, correct? I just got off my bike and the difference a little tuning has done is amazing.
So I just put in your zafm map and it is amazing!!!!!!!!!! Thanks!!! It is def better than the hack map I was using.
I am glad these maps have worked well for you guys. I will be updating the maps once the weather get better in Melbourne. Its been raining and so cold the last week but hopefully get some good weather shortly.

Just a quick note for you guys using the maps. I have found that using the bazzaz 08 map from there website keeps the temps down. Therefore i will be adding all there throttle position settings for 0% throttle to the map.

All below are at 0% THROTTLE
1000rpm (30%), 1500rpm (25%), 2000rpm (25%), 2500 rpm (15%). This should keep the idle temp lower. I will test these to make sure this is correct.

If anyone has more info regarding these maps or there own maps please share with us.
Cheers

You'd still need to add fuel to account for the zbomb leaning stuff out.

Won't my zafm account for this as I ride it? I am using his map as a starting point as mine was all f'ed up and I don't have the patience to screw around with it.

Do you happen to have any bazzaz maps kicking around? I am using your original z-bomb right now. I can def feel the difference after 10000 rpm. Thanks for putting in the work to design it.
currently i m using all map for my cbr 2006. Is your map compatible for my akra titanium evo full system? No harm to try right?

Um no its not compatible with 06 cbr1000. These maps are for an 08/09 cbr1000 with the bazzaz zfi not a pc3 which i believe you have
do you have something more specific for my akra exhaust because i fed up with some of the file given in djm fomat cannot be open. Thank...
Diddy, I have the original Bazzaz map thats had fuel added for the Z-bomb
and one thats slightly leaner with fuel added for the Z-bomb
PM me if you want to try it.

So is it his map with altered air/fuel loads in the higher rpm? If so that would be AWESOME!!!!! I really like his map up to 9k, I haven't gone higher because of my question. Any help would be great!!! Thanks a million!!
Hey Big Will, did you try the other map and if you did what are ur thoughts, comparisons. Thank you.

If you like my map but u want to make sure mapping is correct for the zbomb above 9000rpm add heaps of fuel too all cells above that rpm. At least 10% then turn the zafm on a go for a ride. That way its rich not lean and the unit will recommend the settings after you have hit those cells. Then simply update the map. OK?

Thanks. I could do that but I want to wait to see what Big Will has come up with. If he has created a good map for his bike, off of your starting point, I think I may want to try and use his first.
I think he means the original map that comes with the unit. I am pretty sure he doesn't have a zafm for self tuning. If u use the zafm you will get the correct fuelling for ur bike to suit ur conditions. That means the map will get better probably better then mine and more suited to ur bike. A lot safer then just guessing.
Alex is right: I meant the original map the Bazzaz unit comes with.
Alex I'm about the load your second map now, post up in a lil bit.
no problem i will check it in the morning its 2.00am in the morning here. Have fun with it. Looking forward to your thoughts.

So do your think I am fine how it is? The zafm should correct his map just by itself, right? Or do I need to add fuel to everything past 10k rpm?
I am really hoping Brads955 has a map kicking around he used to develop the Z-bomb . . . .
