Quick question guys, im having real bad temps on my bike. Every time i throttle the bike like mad, the temps will shoot up to 98 degrees celcius. Feels like bike is putting more heat. Im running on evo line and sprint po8. Your inputs will be great.

hi, do live in hot climate country, during winter my bike stays at 75-85 degree celsius, in summer 85-100, both fans are running, i have lowered fan temps thru woolich

try checking ur thermostat, and if both fans run in high temp,

even when i increased fuel thru woolich, the bike was shooting to 106C, but the fans would bring it down

Hi all, i need some advice from the pros here. After i flash tune my sc77 my bike is running super hot. Currently im on full system evo line and P08 filters. On day it will go 100C but is hard for the bike to go down in temps. Also im using a aftermarket radiators from china, the fans are still intact.

New thermostat, new temp sensor. But still is running hot on night. I live in tropical country. But is super hot like 94 C at night which dont make sense
hi, i would say maybe, ur injectors are leaking or spraying more than required quantity, or imbalance in fuel delivery

check spark plugs and coils, try switching fuel rating switch to a higher octane

At a highway would be 97-100. Radiator swap is after the heat issues. When i give it more gas, the bike temps climb up. When im chilling with the throttle the bikes maintain at 91c . Mind you my temps reading are on celcius.

To clarify, your bike was running perfectly normal temperatures (80 Celsius cruising) before the ECU flash?

Did you modify the hose configuration in any manner like deleting the bleed hose (per HRC manual)? Is the coolant properly topped off? Coolant reserve tank filled to correct level?

What about the thermostat? Was it installed in the correct orientation with the little hole up? If it's not there can be trapped air.

Did you physically check the temperature of the radiator with an IR thermometer?

It's very unusual for a bike to run above the thermostat set point while cruising, because at that engine load the radiator can dissipate enough heat to approach the thermostat opening temperature.

Is there any way you could reflash to the OEM ECU for a temporary test? That's where I would start before checking AFR's with a wideband monitor and manually checking the thermostat opening temperature in hot water.

Is there anything obstructing the side fairings where the air flows out of the radiator?

All thermostat as per service manual, as of the HRC bleed hose I'm not sure about that. The OEM AFR ECU is still hot. Coolant top up as per service manual. Take note my sc77 is Australia/Europe models. Maybe you can explain me more for the HRC bleed hose coolant. Heres my number +65 92478225 we can chat over there

There is a thin rubber hose that goes from the radiator fill cap to the thermostat housing. HRC kit removes that hose but it doesn't sound like you did that so don't worry about it.

Are you running OEM radiator hoses? Have you inspected the water pump? Overheating is a tricky issue because there are so many factors that can cause it.

One possibility that Blade just touched on is the radiator hoses. The water pump creates a suction pulling the coolant from the radiator, if the hose is soft it can collapse, reducing water flow. That might only happen when twisting the throttle more so the pump is turning faster.
Also, what coolant did you say you were running? Best cooling is with Distilled water and Redline water wetter or its like.
Running lean would create more heat, knowing your AFR under load would be good information.
Keep at it you will find the problem eventually.

Hi john, thanks for your input. Im running toyota coolant. Also i can sent attached with my graphs my dyno data. And yes only when i throttle the bike the temps go up and stays there.
